Scott and his team did an outstanding job on my home. New windows, new vinyl siding, new gutters and downspouts. Completely updated the look of my house. Through the whole process, from removing of the old aluminum siding and brick, to clean up and finishing details / excellent work. I have received many compliments from neighbors and friends.

Scott has done several projects for us. After our basement flooded he replaced our drywall and baseboard. He also remodeled our basement bathroom and installed a new cabinet. Scott has put up designer wainscoting in several of our rooms. He also striped popcorn ceiling and replaced with knockdown. Scott also replaced our outdated stair rails and hand rails. His estimates are accurate and payment policies are fair. We look forward to working with Scott again.

We are native Toledoans, but lived for many years in New Jersey and Kentucky. In both states we did fairly extensive additions and remodeling of our homes. In both states we found and worked with well qualified, honest builders. When we moved back to the Toledo area a couple years ago, we knew that we would be building an addition. We wondered if our luck with contractors would hold. We obtained bids from several well known, well qualified and highly recommended contractors. The amount they quoted seemed outrageous. We contacted Scott Smith, whom we found on Home Advisor. When he came to look at what we wanted, he took his time, made a lot of measurements, and asked many questions. We were impressed with the care that he took. His estimate of the cost for the work to be performed was significantly less than the other contractors. We decided to take a chance on him, and we were not disappointed. He was meticulous in his work. Once he started, he worked on our project until it was finished. There were a few glitches, as there always are, and we worked through them. This was the first project we had undertaken in the era of text-messaging, and we found that to be a major help in communication. We highly recommend Scott Smith Contracting.

First, Scott is a Marine, he is true to the Flag! He worked through covid19 difficult business conditions to finish the project. He also dealt with some health conditions I am facing with understanding. He is a one man operation which can be limiting when it comes to timelines and schedules. But he tries his best with dignity.
